Robert Levine's Bio

Robert Levine, Designer.

Robert’s has had extensive experience all aspects of the home industry. Working in manufacturing, wholesale and retail and Interior over the past 25 years.

Robert grew up in Skokie and during high school worked for several wallpaper and paint stores. Knowing he had a passion for home decorating and working with customers we quickly became one of the top sales people in the company. He soon progressed on to work at the Merchandise Mart for Dearoa Showroom where he worked with Chicago top designers building his knowledge

of the interior design business.

In 1987 Robert with his partner Bryan Boomershine embarked on their own furniture showroom business in back of the Merchant Mart on Kinzie St called M. L. Robert further expanding his showroom business to interior designers.

M L Robert ‘s created a new venture that would take Robert into the manufacturing of home here in Chicago by purchasing Jo Mead Designs a statuary and accessory company which lasted for more than 15 years.

After selling the accessory business in 2001 Robert has been doing residential commercial interior design for client in the US and around the world.

The Sanctuary name came from the idea that your home is your sanctuary and that it should reflect your personal taste and comfort.
